Crooked Stave Progenitor Sour Ale

A Dry Hopped Golden Sour Ale. Primary fermented with our house mixed culture of yeast and bacteria, Progenitor is the ancestral form of beer from which other have been derived, or so we would like to believe. Brewing has a candid history often cited as going back 10,000 years. Historically, all beer would have been fermented with a mixed culture, we decided to run with that and add copious amounts of our favorite resinous hops. Progenitor is a hybrid of sour and hops, with citrusy, tropical, dank hop aromas and flavors mingling with the tropical and citrus characteristics created during the complex fermentation.
