Lamplighter Riley Barrel-Aged Sour

Riley is a mixed-culture sour brewed with wheat, flaked oats, and a variety of Belgian caramel malts. Aged for 18 months in Hungarian oak barrels, this ruby-colored beer developed rich notes of sour cherry, grape must, and vanilla layered beneath a mouth-puckering lactic tang. Despite its undeniable tartness, Riley is medium-bodied and smooth, lingering lightly on the palate and allowing flavors to bloom. Drink fresh or cellar.
